被动语态在商务英语信函中的合理使用

摘要 商务英语信函是一种独特的写作体裁。商务信函写作中到底选择主动语态还是被动语态,要看具体语境的要求,看哪种语态更能体现特殊的交际语用功能。商务信函写作人要针对交易的性质、地位、环境等,注意自己的措辞,既要维护自己的利益,又要体现礼貌和体谅,这样才能真正解决纠纷,有利于发展和保持贸易关系,发挥商务信函的交际职能。 Business correspondence is a unique writing style. Whether active voice or passive voice is used in the writing depends on the specific business circumstance and the communicative function required by the correspondence. Different transaction, different positions in the transaction and different circumstance under which business takes place will lead to different wording of the business letter. Properly chosen wording can help the writer of the business letters show his courtesy and politeness while safeguarding his interests in the business conflicts, which will lead to effective resolution of business conflicts and will be of great importance to maintain and develop business relationship.
