摘要
美国高校学生事务管理经历了从"学生人事"、"学生服务"、"学生发展"到"SLI"四种模式的历史演进,其在理念、机制、手段和发展趋势等方面已形成了带有普遍性的一些特点,即:以学生的学习和发展为中心;间接报告、垂直管理和校外监督合为一体;法治和教育并重;领域日益学术化和人员日益专业化。这些对我国高校学生工作的转型提供了有益的借鉴。
Favorable to the social changes of America and the trend of massification of higher education, the development of administration of student affairs in American colleges and universities has gone through four developing stages of pattern: Student Personnel, Student Services, Student Development and Student Learning Imperative. It has become mature and is characterized with work objective centered in students" study and development, working mechanism integrated with indirect report, vertical administration and supervision outside the school, management methods with equal stress on rule of law and education, and the trend of academic and professional.
