高水头船闸是内河船闸逐步发展方向.从输水系统布置、水力特征、消能工型式、关键技术等方面对高水头船闸输水系统进行了综述;并介绍了中国、美国、前苏联等航运发达国家的船闸输水系统建设经验和研究成果.

River lock development is gradually developing towards the high-head lock. The authors review the studies on filling and emptying layout, hydraulic characteristic, pattern of energy dissipater, key technology, and also introduce the constructive experiences and results on filling and emptying system of navigation lock in China, U. S. A. , Russia,etc.
