浅论中西文化与公民科学素质建设

On Chinese and Western Culture and Building of the Public Scientific Quality

文章分析了中西方公民科学素质建设的科学根基和思想根源,研究了其文化语境问题。从文化史的角度看,西方的公民科学素质建设与其文化背景紧密相连。与西方相比,我国公民科学素质建设的科学文化根源相对薄弱,有一种历史缺失,这是我们必须面对的现实国情。

The article analyzes the science basis and thought fountainhead about building of the scientific quality in China and West, and probes their context of culture as well. From the angle of cultural history, building of public scientific quality in West has been closely related with its culture foundations. By contrast, our corresponding foundation is unsubstantial. There is a history vacancy, which is the reality that we must face.
