摘要
通过浅析英语中带有"猪"的习语和谚语来讨论猪在西方文化背景中所表达的含义及其所反映的文化内涵,可以说明习语在英语学习中的重要性。
This paper makes an analysis on some idioms and proverbs about pig in English so as to discuss pig＇s meaning and cultural connotation in the western cultural background. The paper comes to the conclusion that the study of English idioms is important in English learning.
