质本洁来还洁去——林黛玉之“凄美”形象艺术探析

For Pure You Came and Pure Shall Go——Analysis on Artistic Image of Lin Daiyu′s "miserable beauty"

《红楼梦》是中国古典小说的巅峰之作,别于其他作品的关键是弘大的叙事结构和深刻的悲剧性。曹雪芹对林黛玉"凄美"艺术形象的描绘突破了历史固定的程式。本文试图摆脱前人用阶级分析的方法开展艺术评论,着重文本和艺术研究。一是从"凄凉"的角度分析林黛玉性格形成的原因,"凄"则主要表现在林黛玉的身世凄凉、纤弱多病、葬花、驻足潇湘馆、直至泪尽而夭;二是从"纯美"的角度分析林黛玉令人怜爱的表现,"美"则主要表现在她弱柳扶风的含羞之态、率真善良的处世态度、超凡脱俗的艺术才华等方面。两者相互融合就构成了林黛玉"凄美"的悲剧形象。

A Dream of Red Mansion is the greatest works of Chinese classic literature. Its grand narrative structure and profound sense of tragedy are the keys to make it distinctive from others. Mr. Cao Xueqin broke the stereotype of portrayal with the artistic image of Lin Daiyu＇s ＂miserable beauty＂. This article, trying to be free from the analysis method of conducting artistic reviews with class viewpoint by predecessors, emphasizes context and art research. First, from the point of view of ＂miserable＂ , the article analyzes the reasons to form Lin Daiyu＇s character; ＂miserable＂ is expressed in her sad life, her fragile and invalid physique, burying fallen flowers, staying in Bamboo mansion and her early death to the last tear. Second , from the point of view of ＂purely beautiful＂ , the article analyses Lin Daiyu＇s tender sweetness. ＂Pure beauty＂ rests on her shyness like a tender willow swinging in breeze, her attitude of life of being straightforward and kind, and her refined artistic talents. These two points mix together to form the tragic artistic image of Lin Daiyu＇s ＂miserable beauty＂.
