以人为本的教育强调学生是一个个具有独立思想、意识、情感、欲望、需求以及各种能力的活生生的人,他们不仅仅是教育的对象,而且是教育过程的平等参与者、合作者,教育与自我教育的主体。作为教师,要把学习的主动权还给学生,使学生自己学着去尝试。
