摘要
探讨了信号控制交叉口的通行能力与信号周期之间的关系,研究发现信号交叉口进口道的通行能力并不一定随信号周期之增加而增加;给出进口道通行能力与信号周期之间关系的判断准则,并运用该准则进一步分析整个交叉口的通行能力与信号周期的关系。
This paper discussed the relationship between the capacity and cycle length at a signalized intersection. It was found that the capacity does not always increase with the increasing of the cycle length at a signalized intersection approach. The criterion to estimate the above relationship was presented, which was then used to analyse the relationship between Capacity and cYcle length for a signalized intersection as a whole.
