落实科学发展观 更加关注民生问题——学习党的十七大报告的体会

Carry out Scientific Development View and Pay More Attention to the People's Livelihood

党的十七大报告指出:科学发展观的核心是以人为本。它体现了党的根本宗旨是全心全意为人民服务,做到发展为了人民,发展依靠人民,发展成果由人民共享。由此,今后在经济发展的基础上,要更加关注民生问题,加快推进以改善民生为重点的社会建设,扩大公共服务,完善社会管理,促进社会公平正义,努力使全体人民"学有所教、劳有所得、病有所医、老有所养、住有所居",使社会更加和谐。

The report of the 17th CPC National Congress, which denotes that the core of Scientific Development View is people oriented, embodies the ultimate tenet of our Party, serving the people heart and soul. It means development is for the people, on the people, and its fruit should be shared by the people. More importance must therefore be attached to social development on the basis of economic growth to en- sure and improve people＇s livelihood, carry out social restructuring, expand public services, improve social management and promote social equity and justice. We must do our best to ensure that all our people enjoy their rights to education, employment, medical and old-age care, and housing, so as to build a harmonious Society.
