“王者之迹熄而《诗》亡”的诗学意义

On the Poetic Significance of the Declined Royal Court and The Book of Songs Withered

孟子诗学思想为古代文学理论之奠基,历来为学者所重并多方探讨研究。然对其"王者之迹熄而《诗》亡,《诗》亡然后《春秋》作"一语所蕴之诗学意义,学界却似有忽略。笔者拟就此略陈管见,从中寻绎其文学批评因子,期以抛砖引玉。

Literary thoughts of Mencius has an important impact on Chinese poetics in literary criticism history. He said that when the royal court declined, The Book of Songs withered away, and then the Spring and Autumn Annals began to emerge. This paper analyzes and illuminates the viewpoint of Mencius, so as to explore its characteristics of literary criticism.
