摘要
情节与冥想之间消解与建构的结构关系使米勒的思想在文本中得到表述,同时也反映出现代主义对以情节为主的传统叙事手段既超越又固守的内在矛盾。包括享利.米勒在内的美国先锋作家最终对情节的妥协,不仅证实故事情节在语言虚构艺术中的合法性,更表明现代主义反情节的形式探索实则是为情节叙事向纵深发展提供了一种动力。
Because of the structural relationship between plot and meditation, Henry Miller expressed his thought through texts. And the relationship also reflected the inner contradiction in the thought of modernists. For traditional narrative method which mostly depended on plots, the modernists sometimes followed it, while sometimes went beyond it. At last, the American pioneers including Miller compromised. This proved the validity of the plots in the lingual fictive art, and pointed out that the modernist's exploration of anti - plot actually provided a motivity for the deep development of plot narration.
