The evolvement of the basic words reflects the transition from classical Chinese to vernacular Chinese. The author discusses the transitions of ＂乳-湩-奶 ＂ and ＂弃-丢-扔＂, and tries to draw a comprehensive conclusion about the transition from the Qin and Han Dynasties, according to the changes of the basic words.
