高等学校是党和国家加强和改进思想政治工作的重点,思想政治工作是高校教育工作的生命线,也是高校学生党建工作的重要一环。当代大学生在政治上积极要求进步,对我国政治局势和经济形势总的看法持积极乐观态度,对社会热点问题较为关注。但在发展方向的选择上当代大学生一只眼睛看着书本,另一只眼睛盯着社会,一只脚留在课堂,另一只脚迈向课外。因此高校的思想政治工作者都应该花时间和精力,多渠道开展思想政治工作,不断开辟高校学生思想政治工作新领地。
