Resource Characteristics and Suggestions for the Development of Weixi Lisu Autonomous County

维西傈僳族自治县系"三江并流"世界自然遗产的中心腹地,蕴藏着丰富的森林资源、生物资源、旅游资源以及水资源。但由于该县为边疆、民族、山区、贫困县,丰富的自然资源尚未被开发利用,为此提出了保护好现有森林资源、积极发展旅游业、大力开发水电资源、加大生物资源开发利用等发展建议。

Weixi Lisu Autonomous County is located in the central of Three-River Juncture-a World Natural Heritage Site, and contains abundant forest resources, biological resources, tourist resources and water resources. But the county is a remote, ethnic, mountainous, and poor county, the rich natural resources are still under un-exploitation. Thus some suggestions for the development including to protect the available forest resources at present, to develop tourism industry, to explore hydroelectric resources and biological resources have all been proposed.
