This paper analyzes Du Fu＇ s Climb High from such aspects as reciprocity principle metaphor and metonymy to find its art mechanism. The poem presents an inherent expanded deep cultural structure, the poet chooses the meaningful nature image to outline a nostalgic picture, and it expands the poetic space and reveals the mind and the life experience of the traveler.
