The principles of the automotive supporting legs hydraulic cylinder system were introduced, and the leakage characteristics of the supporting legs hydraulic cylinder were analyzed deeply. Point out that occurring soft-legged in the crane is not in the reasons of the hydraulic cylinder piston seal, but in the seal of the upper and lower cavity of the oil path; the key to airproof the oil path is in the upper cavity. Finally, the fault diagnosis approach and treatment method for the automobile soft legs were given in detail.
