多媒体在英语专业精读课教学中的应用

The Application of the Multimedia CAI To the Teaching of English-Majored Intensive Reading

近年来,我国高校英语专业的精读教学现状不容乐观,教学模式亟待改善。多媒体辅助英语的教学模式其实质就是传统的英语教学法同先进的教学理念和技术的完美结合。本文试图从学生、教师、教学内容和教学环境四个方面来探讨多媒体在英语专业精读课教学中的优势作用。但同时,多媒体在英语专业精读课教学中的过度使用所带来的种种问题也不容忽视。所以,只有在精读教学中正确使用多媒体才能够大大地提高教学效果,优化教学模式。

The teaching mode of intensive reading course in English major has experienced a lot of changes. The proper use of Multimedia CAI （Computer Assisted Instruction） in the English-majored classroom might lead to a perfect combination of traditional English teaching mode and advanced teaching conception. This article tries to discuss the supplementary role of Multimedia CAI in the English-majored intensive reading course from 4 aspects （student, teacher, subject and milieu）, which are essential elements of a teaching mode. It is necessary to pay much attention to the problems brought by the overuse of CAI in such a language classroom. So the appropriate application of the CAI to the teaching of Englishmajored intensive reading is of great significance.
