Expanding Basis and Developing Concept──Thinking About the Architectural Education in Future

本文从分析建筑教育现状入手，展望未来建筑的发展及对人才的需要，为培养高层次，具有较大适应性和创造力的建筑师．提出了拓宽专业基础和开发设计意念的设想。

Starting from the analysis of the present conditions of architectural educatin and from the prospect of the future, the author proposes a teaching idea to broden the professional basis and to develop the design concept in order to train architects of a higher grade with higher adaptibility and creativity along with the development of building industry and the need of qualified personnel. Stresses are laid on the explanation of the development of concept from such aspects as method without fixed pattern, creation and inspiration, similarity of thought,association and imagination, etc. It is also pointed out that if it is to stick specific character out from general character, the scychological conventions must be overcome and we should be good at subliming theory and practicing re-creation in the complicated law of unity of opposites in contradictions and in the gap of the branches of learning that are either cross-penetrated or combined so as to score great successes in design.
