商贸发展与妈祖香火网络扩展的关系——以福建省莆仙地区为例

The Relationship between the Commerce and Trade Development and the Expansion of Mazu Incense Networks——Basing on the Puxian Region in Fujian

纵向考察新中国成立前莆仙地区妈祖信仰的香火网络扩展过程,概述当地各个历史时期的商贸发展状况,指出妈祖信仰分香网络的扩展与莆仙商贸发展之间存在着高度的关联性,或者说莆仙地区妈祖香火产生和扩展的历史也是莆仙地区商贸和集镇经济发展的历史。

This thesis longitudinally studied the Mazu incense network expansion process in Puxian region before the founding of new China, and found the development of local commerce and trade in various historical periods. The study found that there is a high degree of correlation between the expansion of Mazu incense network and the development of commerce and trade in Puxian area; It can be said the history of the emergence and development of Mazu incense is just the history of the development of commercial trade and the towns economy in Puxian region.
