Wu Yingen’s Clinical Experience in Differentiating and Treating Bronchial Asthma

介绍吴银根教授运用中医药辨治支气管哮喘的临床经验。认为阳虚寒盛为哮喘病机之本。辨治要点为宣肺散寒,降气平喘;清肺化痰,平喘止嗽;搜风祛痰,善用虫药;活血化瘀,痰瘀同治;健脾温肾,扶正补虚是治疗的根本;在遣方用药时,灵活变通。并根据患者的不同病情,中西医结合规范用药。并举验案2则。

This article mainly introduces the clinical experience of professor Wu Yingen in treating bronchial asthma by TCM. He suggests that deficiency of yang and exuberance of cold are common in patients with asthma. In treatment based upon syndrome differentiation, he pays attention to therapeutic methods as follows： releasing lung-energy and dissipating cold, lowering adverse qi and relieving asthma; clearing lung and resolving phlegm, relieving asthma and stopping cough; removing the wind and eliminating phlegm, using insect drugs; promoting blood flow and removing blood stasis, treating the phlegm and blood stasis both; invigorating the spleen and warming the kidney. And he thinks that strengthening body resistance and reinforcing the deficiency are the fundamental treatment. He is also active and flexible in choosing the decoction and the medication. According to different conditions of the patients, he integrates traditional and western medicine and standardizes the medication. In the end, the article presents two effective cases in his clinic.
