摘要
本文简要介绍了国家信息基础结构(NII)的核心——宽带综合业务数字网(B-ISDN)及其传输和交换的两个主要支柱——同步数字系列(SDH)和异步转移模式(ATM),以及移动通信和个人通信网(PCN)。PCN 和B-ISDN 一起推动着未来的全球信息基础结构(GII)。
The paper briefly describes the Broadband Integrated Ser- vices Digital Network of the Na- tional Information Infrastructure together with its key technologies of transmission and switching, namely,the Synchronous Digital Hierarchy and Asynchronous Transfer Mode.It also mentions the Personal Communication Net- work,reguired in promoting the Global Information Infrastructure.
