Recollection of History·Recognition of Space·Return of Tradition——Design of Yuhai Culture Square in Rui’an,Zhejiang

作为一种对历史街区的改造模式,该工程以传统建筑形式为载体,吸收了现代城区的改造经验,通过整合历史街区、维护古城肌理和街巷界面,来创造跌宕开阖、序列有致的空间形式,并以此进行商业性开发,再现民间传统人文活动的面貌。

As a reconstruction mode of historic districts, this project absorbs reconstruction experience of modern district on the base of traditional building form, and then creates flexible and orderly spatial form by integrating historic districts and maintaining texture and streets interface of ancient town, so as to develop commerce and reconstruct traditional folk cultural activities.
