摘要
以51名大二学生为研究对象,就他们的英语韵律水平与听力理解能力之间的相关性进行了实验研究。实验证明:大学生英语韵律水平与听力理解能力之间存在显著正相关。进一步的统计分析发现,组成韵律概念的各个因素中,意群影响作用最强,单词和语调居中,重读稍弱;而且,在英语韵律水平与英语听力理解能力之间的相关性方面,女生比男生更强。文章结尾指明了实验结果对英语教学、尤其是对听力教学的重要启示。
Two college classes of non - English major are chosen as the subjects in the experimental study to explore the relationship between their prosody level and their ability of listening comprehension. The results show that the relationship between them is significantly correlated, even though the relationship is of linguistics. Further statistical analysis tells us that all the elements, which form the concept of prosody, have strong correlation with the ability, more significant to female succeeded in CET -4 than the ones who failed. In the students than male ones, more significant to students who end, the paper makes some suggestions in English teaching and learning and in listening course.
