BING Xin is a woman translator with strong feminist consciousness. After the Opium War, influenced by Western concepts of civil rights, and the equality between two genders, BING Xin produced tremendous literary works with feminist consciousness. Influenced by this thought, she greatly glorified woman's virtues, tried to eliminate the gender discrimination in the originals and improved woman's status in family and society. BING Xin's translation thoughts and practice are analyzed from the perspective of gender, from which it is found the Western feminist consciousness had influence on her.
