党的执政合法性资源是党执政的合法性得以维持的条件,旧的合法性资源流失以后,我们党迫切需要开发新的执政合法性资源。党的十六大以来,胡锦涛同志从坚持发展这个党执政兴国的第一要务、坚持执政为民、建立新的惩治和预防腐败体系、推进党的执政能力建设、开展保持党员先进性教育以及构建社会主义和谐社会等方面对党的执政合法性资源进行了开发,为党的执政合法性的维持补充开发了新的资源。
