党的十六届六中全会做出了《关于构建社会主义和谐社会若干重大问题的决定》。学校作为社会的重要组成部分,在构建社会主义和谐社会过程中,担负着义不容辞的使命和责任,也就是说在构建和建设和谐社会整体格局中,学校理应把构建和谐校园作为师生员工的目标并起到示范作用。因此明确构建和谐校园的基本含义及意义,弄清构建和谐校园的具体标准和需要做好的工作是必要的。

The decision of《some important problematic decision about building harmonious socialism》 was made in the 6th Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee. As the important constitute part of the society, school takes on the duty - bound mission and responsibility in building the harmonious socialism process, namely, in the whole structure of building harmonious society, the school should act paradigmatic function, and its target is building the harmonious campus. Therefore, it is necessary to nail down the basic signification, and understand fully the concrete criterion and the work needed to be done well in building the harmonious campus.
