近年来，香港工业国际竞争力较70年代和80年代有所减弱。九七香港回归祖国后，必须保持和强化香港的国际竞争力，特别是保持和强化香港工业的国际竞争力。本文主要研究香港回归前夕工业国际竞争力弱化的表现及原因；回归后，强化工业国际竞争力的必要性、可能性和对策。
In recent years the international competitive ability of Hongkong' industry has been decreasing. It is necessary to maintain and enhance the international competitive ability of Hongkong'sindustry after its returning. This article studies the performances of and the reasons for theweakening of Hongkong's industrial competitive ability, and the author brings about the possibility and the measures to strengthen the competitive ability of Hongkong's industry.
