Yang Zheng-guang＇s early works explore the human nature and reveal the destiny of people by good stories, but the later ones turn to make the history explicit and profound. The turn strengthens the width of novels, but weakens the depth of humanity exploring, overlooking the females＇ willingness especially. The change is related to the promotion of self-consciousness and the influence of the era. Maintaining continuity and complexity in breakthrough is the common dilemma challenging the writer.
