Synthesis of Glyoxylic Ester

摘要 乙醛酸酯是一种在有机合成中应用非常广泛的中间体,本文报道一个简单而有效的合成方法,即在相转换条件下,用高锰酸钾氧化不饱和羧酸酯。 Glyoxylic ester is prepared from oxidation of maleic ether with KMnO4 in the presence of phase transfer catalyst. The optimal conditions are also reported.
