杨荫浏带领他的同事在20世纪50年代后开始从事的一系列民间音乐考察,是具有划时代意义的举动,为中国音乐学积累了第一批研究型考察的历史经验,这些经验和方法今天依然适用,总结经验并与音乐文化人类学相关的讨论相互比照,将会提升今天的学术眼界。

A series of investigations on folk music conducted by research institute of music, Chinese Academy of Arts in 1950s, led by Professor Yang Yin-hu, are unprecedented activities, which have accumulated the first-hand investigatory experiences for researched-based studies of Chinese music. These experiences and methods are still applicable for today＇ s research work. A thorough review of these experiences and a comparative study with related discussions in anthropology of musical culture will promote today＇s academic scope.
