对材料质量要求的提高，促进了清洁钢的发展。护外精炼技术的进步，是清洁钢生产的基础。介绍了几种清洁钢生产的工艺过程和特点，以及一些提高钢清洁度的新工艺。
The development of clean steel production was accelerated due to the increas-ing requirements for the material qualitl. The advanced secondary refining process is the basisfor clean steel production. Several technica1 proccsses and characteristics of cleau steel productionwere introduced, including some new techniques for improving the steel cleanness.
