A PiP video processor with the function of character - overlap is developed, which can display and monitor two adjustable pictures after processing two input video signals. The capacity of data storage is reduced and video security is improved. It can also overlap any characters by changing standard character lattices with more picture information. It can be applied to kinds of video monitoring systems, such as interrogation, traffic and bank.
