Biology and control strategy of phlebotomine sandfly

该文综合了近十余年来国内外对白蛉生物学和防制方面的主要研究成果，其中包括1991-2004年6次关于白蛉或利什曼病国际学术讨论会提供的资料。可以看出，在白蛉的分布、扩散、吸血、生殖、寿命和滞育等方面的研究以及对野栖白蛉的防制策略都有了新的进展，可供我国利什曼病防治工作者的参考。

This paper summarized the results of studies on the biology and control strategy of sandflies at home and abroad in recent 10 years, including the data provided by six international symposiums on sandflies or leishmaniasis in 1991-2004. New progress in various aspects of researches on sandflies, such as its geographical distribution, dispersion, blood feeding, reproduction, life expectancy and diapause as well as new control strategy against exophilic sandfly species was described that may serve as reference for leishmaniasis control in China.
