An Optimized Approach for Views Maintenance Based on XPATH

Sawires等人给出的视图维护方法能在少量辅助空间的情况下增量地维护视图,但是在较多约束的视图定义下,由于该方法在约束检测方面没有被优化,所以影响了视图维护效率.提出了Sawires视图维护方法的一种优化方法,并通过试验验证了该方法能够有效地提高视图的维护效率.

Sawires, et al have proposed one kind of approach of views maintenance, which can maintain views increasingly with the help of less amount auxiliary space. However, under the circumstance of many constraints in the definition of views, maintaining work becomes less efficient because its constraint testing has not been optimized. An optimized method for Sawires＇ work is proposed and has been proved to improve efficiency of views maintenance effectively.
