Improvement of sensory neuropathy by nerve growth factor in experimental diabetic rats

摘要 观察了链脲佐菌素糖尿病大鼠成模两个月后,投用神经生长因子(NGF)对糖尿病神经病变的影响。结果显示,外源性注射NGF1个月后,摇尾试验(一种鼠对热毒刺激的反应)热痛阈值明显恢复,坐骨神经的感觉神经传导速度有所改善。初步显示了NGF对糖尿病感觉神经病变的治疗作用。 This study investigated the effects of administration of nerve growth factor (NGF) on diabetic neuropathy in diabetic rats two months after streptozotocin (STZ) induction.The results showed:after 1 month of injections improvements were seen in both tailfrick threshold (a measure of the rats response to a thermal noxious stimulus)and sciatic sensory nerve conduction velocity (SNCV).The findings suggested that the NGF might have some effect in the treatment for diabetic sensory neuropathy.
