摘要
为了增强指纹图像预处理的效果,在指纹图像预处理算法的基础上,文中提出了一种新的指纹图像预处理的算法.该方法先对指纹图像分块,利用Radon变换获得图像的方向场,再用Gabor滤波器进行滤波,处理后的图像可以直接用于特征点匹配.试验结果表明,该算法使断开的脊线得到连接,叉连线得到消除,脊线和谷线得到了分离.该算法与传统方法相比,增强效果明显,且算法简单.并且可以推广到一般的纹理图像.
An arithmetic of fingerprint image preprocessing is presented on the basis of available algorithms and Radon transforms. Firstly, we divide the fingerprint image to blocks, then Radon transform is used to estimate the direction image. Finally, it is filtered by the Gabor filter. Thus,we get the processed image. The experiment indicates that the disconnected ridge lines are linked together, the crossed lines are eliminated, ridge and valley lines have been isolated. It improves the quality of the fingerprint image greatly. Cmpared with the traditional method,this arithmetic is simple and efficient. It establishes the solid foundation to following works.
