Plato,the famous ancient Greek philosopher, manifested mankind＇s achievements in reflection and exploration of aesthetics and literature in ancient times with his aesthetics and literary thinkings. Though his thinkings conveys the compo- sition of idealism, they had a far-reaching impact on its successors and became one of the important sources of the US and Western aesthetics and literature.
