There have been many reviews of the books by Rynnosuke Akutagawa, but comparisons of An Orange with literary works of other countries seem to have been rare. however, a careful study reveals that it is similar to Lu Xun＇s A Small Incident is portrayal of characters , plot structure and artistic methods.
