On Guangxi's Economic Regionalization

为了更合理地按照地域分工组织社会生产,很有必要划分经济区。各级经济区可作为指导、协调和组织其产业部门企业进行生产经营的地域单元。广西可划分为4个一级经济区和19个二级经济区。一级经济区因其规模适度性而有利于宏观指导和组织其公路运输、农业区域化生产、轻工业生产和商业经济活动,以及将来的行政区划改革。二级经济区因其市县组合的合理性而有利于本区经济的发展。

In order to obtain a more rational organization of social production, it is necessary to divide into economic zones. Economic zones at all levels can be used as a geographical unit to guide, coordinate and organize the production of their industrial enterprises. Guangxi can be di- vided into four first-level economic zones and a 19 second-level economic zones. Because of its prop- er scale, the first-level economic zone is favorable for macro guidance and road transport, agricultural production regionalization, light manufacturing and commercial economic activities, as well as the re- form of the administrative districts in the future. The second economic zone can help the region＇ s e- conomic development because of the rational combination between cities and counties.
