摘要
文章以20世纪80-90年代英语中出现的新词为考察对象,试从英语新词产生的社会背景及其主要形成方式两方面展开论述,以探求近20年来出现的英语新词发展的内在规律。
The paper studies the process by which the new words in English are formed and the sources of the words, thereby revealing laws underlying the development of the English new words.
