试论唐代城市发展的原因

The Causes for the Urban Development in the Tang Dynasty

唐代是中国古代史研究的一个重要朝代,而城市史则是近20年才逐渐发展起来一门综合性的学科。唐代城市是近几年来学术研究的一个热点,但至今还尚未见到对唐代城市发展原因全面论及的文章。历史上看,社会生产力和商品经济的发展、社会生产力的转移、农村社会结构的破坏、工商业互动及市民阶层社会生活的影响五个方面成为唐代城市发展的推动因素,在城市发展史上具有典型意义。

The Tang Dynasty is an important focus for the study of ancient Chinese history, but the study of urban history has been a new and integrated discipline in the past twenty years. The study of the cities in the Tang Dynasty has been a popular topic in the past few years, but there are few papers on the causes of the urban development in the Tang dynasty. Through a study of this history, the paper concludes that the development of productivity and commodity economy, the transfers of social productivity, the deconstruction of the rural social structure, the interaction between industry and business and the social life of the urban citizens are the five key factors for the urban development in this period, which should have great significance to the study of urban development in China.
