摘要
以PEG为分散剂,采用化学沉淀法制备了不同形貌的纳米MgO。用XRD和TEM分析了所制备粉体的物相组成和形貌特征,探讨了PEG对MgO形貌的影响并提出了可能的形成机理。结果表明:在Mg(OH)2成核数少时,PEG优先吸附在Mg(OH)2的(001)晶面上,抑制了此面的生长,形成了片状形貌;随着成核数的增加,PEG选择性吸附作用削弱,而采用最有效的密集包覆晶核,抑制了晶体生长,形成了"网络"状形貌。
Nano-MgO with different morphologies was prepared by a chemical precipitation method using PEG as dispersant. The as-prepared nano-powders were characterized by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscope. The influence of PEG on the morphology of nano-particles was investigated, and the mechanism of morphology formation was also illuminated. The results show that PEG may be adsorbed preferably on the (001) crystal plane of Mg ( OH ) 2, and the growth along this facet is therefore considerably restricted to produce plates. With the increase of the nuclei, the selective adsorption is weakened, and the nuclei are mainly wrapped with PEG, which inhibit the nuclei growth to form a network-like shape.
