This paper points out linguistic communication theory, should focus on the communicative competence of the learners, which plays an important and inspiring role in today＇ s Chinese education and teaching. The communication teaching approach centers on the students, which is different from the traditional one with its characters of creation, intelligence and multi - functions. Thus communication teaching theory may occupy an optimal position in the aspects of Chinese teaching.
