介绍了电流变液的研究现状及发展动向；电流变液研究中存在的一些问题；研究电流变液的有关模型．
Electrorheological(ER) fluid is a kind of new promising material. Its mechanical characteristics change rapidly in the presence of an applied electric field. This phenomenon has potential applications in industries and technologies. the main topics discussed are: the present situation of research on ERF and its prospects; some problems during its research models.
