The structure, classification, basic characteristic and function mechanism of β-glucan were introduced. The multi functions of β-glucan against aging, wrinkle, scars diminishing, anti inflammatory were also described and analyzed. By illustrating the trans-dermal fLmction of oat β-glucan,it shows the potential market for this product in cosmetic fields.
