摘要
康熙朝瓷器中,有一些带“西园”印文的瓷器,多为文房用具。这些瓷器表面一侧以五彩绘纹饰,另一侧配有墨彩诗文,诗尾有“西园”署款或篆书“西园”印章,或两者皆有。这些瓷器画工精细,诗文笔法洒脱,字体遒劲有力,墨彩漆黑如墨,风格独特。以往观点认为这些瓷器上所用“西园”印款为高凤翰字、号,笔者通过对高凤翰的生平事迹、相关艺术作品及其“西园”印文流变的考证,提出瓷器上的“西园”印款非高凤翰字、号。
Most of the porcelain vessels produced during the Kangxi reign which bear the‘Xiyuan’(meaning,‘Western Garden’)mark were scholar's studio objects.he surfaces of these porcelain pieces are decorated with‘five-colour’(wucai)paintings on one side,and on the reverse feature poetic inscriptions.At the end of each couplet or longer verse is the‘Xiyuan’mark;the mark might also appear on the other side.The porcelain is fine ware,while the poetry is written in a romantically flowing,and forceful,calligraphic style;the black glaze seems like fresh black ink and the style is unique.It was once thought that these porcelain objects with the‘Xiyuan’marks were the signature of the artist Gao Fenghan,but the author has established,through his examination of Gao's biographical details,related works and a close examination of the mark itself,that the works bearing the‘Xiyuan’mark were not produced by Gao Fenghan.
