概述了近年来蔓荆子原植物生物学特性、栽培试验、生态环境保护、化学成分、药理实验和临床医疗等研究现状,并分析目前研究中存在的问题及展望今后的研究开发趋势.

In this paper, a summary was made of the status quo of studies on the bionomics, the cultivation test, the environmental protection, the chemical composition, the pharmacological experiments and the clinical medical treatment of Fmctus viticis in recent years. Besides, an analysis was also made of some current issues in studies and of the prospective development in this aspect.
