There are close relationships between The Swallow Building and Master Zhang and Bai Juyi in Tang Dynasty. After Tang Dynasty, different scholar had different explanation for this relationship. The author of this dissertation is a Japanese scholar, he made an intensive study of these related questions about The Swallow Building and Master Zhang and Bai Juyi from the view of a foreign scholar.
