《离婚》中绍兴方言词翻译规范探析

The Norms Governing the Translation of Shaoxing Dialect Words in Divorce

本文运用Lefevere的"话语世界"概念及Toury的翻译规范理论,以《离婚》中的绍兴方言词为研究对象,通过原文及其四种英译本的比较,考察译者各自采取的翻译规范。文本考察发现,四种译本均表现出翻译行为的规律性变化,即译文在倾向于充分性或可接受性方面有规可循。

Drawing on Lefevere＇s concept of universe of discourse and Toury＇s translational norms,we aim to establish the initial norms as were adopted by the four u＇anslators when rendering Lu Xun＇ s short story Divorce into English. The examination of the original and the translations,which focuses on Shaoxing dialect words and expressions, points to the norms in terms of adequacy and acceptability and shows up regularities of translational behavior.
