摘要
翻译是一门实践性非常强的课程,老师只能起"解惑"之功,学生才是这门课程的真正主角。除了课上的练习、讨论和课外作业,主要是读书、写读书报告和翻译练习。目的是加强学生的语言修养和文学修养,最终提高学生的翻译水平。
Of all five abilities to acquire in learning a foreign language,doing translation is above all the other four abilities:listening,speaking,reading and writing. Only by doing translation can a foreign language learner achieve the purpose of communication. The teachers in college only play a guiding part and give the primary knowledge to students. Both teachers and students should always do their best to improve their bi-lingual knowledge and practise translating from English to Chinese or vice versa. Since translation has become a multi-academic science,so to do translation faithfully,expressively and elegantly is a life-long task.
